A Knight's Tale (2001)

The choice of music was rather odd considering when this film is meant to take place. However, after reading a few of the comments from the director, Brian Helgeland, I understand why he chose this type of music. He was quoted saying that he used “...modern music in the movie to show modern audiences what people then felt about their music. When true Renaissance music is used in modern movies, it fails to convey the emotional response that people back then had to such music.” Heath Ledger, Paul Brittany, Alan Tudyk and Mark Addy were hilarious together; Tudyk and Bettany seemed to have incredible chemistry in the film. Overall, I have to say that this wasn’t my favorite film (not to say it was bad; but it wasn’t really my cup of tea). I struggled to remain focused throughout the film (the comedy was really was kept me interested). http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0183790/
