This film is incredibly corny (which can be expected of an early 90’s Christmas movie). Thora Birch’s character is almost exactly the same as her character in Hocus Pocus; she apparently is good at playing that type of character. It was interesting to see such young versions of Ethan Embry and Jamey Sheridan. They are both decent actors, however Embry’s acting at this age is a bit funny. I definitely didn’t hate this film but I don’t know if I’d jump at the opportunity to watch it again. http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0101301/
