I found this film to be absolutely dreadful. I felt that Aileen Quinn and Carol Burnett (as well as the rest of the orphans) to be nothing short of tone deaf. Not only did I find the voices to be subpar, I felt that the songs, themselves, were horrible. Along with the singing, I believe the acting left a lot to be desired. I can give Quinn a pass due to the fact that she would have only been about ten or eleven when the film was released. I thought that almost everyone else’s acting was less than satisfactory. Honestly, the story wasn’t bad, I just felt that there were so many flaws (and an overabundance of musical numbers) within the film that it distracted from the actual storyline. Also, if Lara Berk’s Tessie said “oh my goodness” just one more time, I think I may have lost it. P.S. Punjab is a f****n’ ninja. http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0083564/
