Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

The start of this film may be the best entrance I have ever seen. It began in medias res and left very little to be desired for the start of a superhero film. For a film that began during such a crucial point in the film, Joss Whedon and the other writers did an excellent job of keeping the viewers in the know. I feel that it would be easy to confuse an audience when beginning at this point but it was made clear, immediately, what was happening and what had led up to the current point. Ultron was a cool choice for a villain, but, what made him so incredible was James Spader. His voice and his mannerisms are so astonishing to watch and listen to; I can see why some of the other actors on the set struggled to act at the same time as him, he’s mesmerizing. I enjoyed the addition of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch to the Avengers. She is, by far, one of the coolest characters in the MCU. Plus, the introduction of Vision was one of the most exciting parts of the film. I appreciated the direction they took Hawkeye’s character; they took him from being a pawn and made him a leader, someone other characters could rely on. The film was full of action and humor and there was never a dull moment throughout the entire thing. I personally enjoyed this film more than the first Avengers film; I thought the Avengers team was more fun and the story, as a whole, was better. The story, the cast and the events that took place in this film made this the best film in the MCU up to its release. http://m.imdb.com/title/tt2395427/
