Batman Begins (2005)

I could have sworn I had seen this film before; turns out that wasn’t the case. So, of the Batman films we have watched so far, I think this is my favorite. Christian Bale’s Batman was certainly the most intimidating of the Batman actors, making him, in my opinion, the best Batman to date. This film had the best story of any of the films. I love that it started at the beginning; not just with the why or the how Bruce Wayne became Batman, but with both. Christopher Nolan and the other writers appeared to have covered every aspect of Wayne’s transformation into “The Bat.” The characters, compared to other Batman movies were phenomenal. Liam Neeson’s Henri Ducard and Cilian Murphy’s Dr. Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow were great choices for villains and they brought great balance to the film opposite of Bale. Michael Cane was also the best version of Alfred to date. Adam Swiderski kept telling me that this was the best Batman film; I guess he was right. http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0372784/
