Batman: The Movie (1966)

I found this film to be funny. Being exposed to the films that are made today it’s hard to suspend my disbelief. It was hard to get past how corny this film was; from exploding sharks to the inability to realize that Bruce Wayne is Batman I found a lot of this hard to get on board with. I appreciate the story and the characters, but the means by which the story was carried out was a bit crazy. I found it interesting that the United Underworld was filmed entirely using a Dutch Angle. Adam West’s Bruce Wayne/Batman reminded me of Jim Parson’s Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory. It was frustrating to see that the criminals were significantly smarter than the heroes in this film. Overall, I struggled to enjoy this film and it actually aggravated me at points. http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0060153/
