I can understand why people love this film; I get that the story is good and the characters are easy to become attached to. I definitely don’t dislike the story or the characters, but, due to the fact that I don’t typically fall in love with musicals, this is not my favorite film. As far as songs go, the songs in this film aren’t terrible; I actually even enjoy the song “Be Our Guest.” The most annoying part of the entire film is when the Beast turns back into the prince and he has to convince Belle that it’s actually him, and even better, she’s shocked to see that it is, in fact, him. Who else would it be? You just watched him transform into a human right in front of your face!
