Beyond Tomorrow (Rereleased in 2004 under the title Beyond Christmas) (1940)

Well, this film was terribly boring. The story wasn’t bad and, considering it was filmed in the very early forties, the acting and special effects weren’t terrible. The six main characters were literally the nicest characters to appear in any film I can think of; they all had little to no flaws. The film moved so slowly, however, that it was hard to remain focused throughout. Considering the film was rereleased in 2004 under the title Beyond Christmas, the film really had very little to do with Christmas (with the exception of the first scene taking place on Christmas Eve). This is, perhaps, the saddest Christmas film ever, as just about everyone died. Overall, this really wasn’t a bad film, but I struggled to pay attention due to how slowly it moved. http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0032247/
