This is still one of Adam Sandler’s best films to date. Sandler’s films aren’t typically dependent on his acting ability, however, I feel that he did a solid job of acting in this film. Towards the end of the film I truly believed that his character, Sonny Kaufax, was hurting as Cole/Dylan Sprouse’s Julian “Frankenstein” McGrath was taken from him. The Sprouses, regardless of how they are today, were cute little kids and pretty decent little actors. The story in this film is great; it’s funny and touching.
