I’ve said this before about other films, however, I think this may have actually been the dumbest film I have ever seen. I did, however, find this film incredibly funny. I really enjoyed the concept of the film. As I’ve said before, I typically don’t care for chick-flicks. So, the fact that this film made fun of the entire genre, including some films that I’ve already grown to dislike, made the film work for me. The entire film was actually quite uncomfortable to watch, however. Some of the scenes dragged on too long. I know that the scenes were meant to drag on in order to make the audience a bit uncomfortable, and, while that worked very well, I think that the film was actually a bit longer than it needed to be because of these scenes. They could have easily shortened some of these scenes (even if just by a few seconds) and made the film significantly shorter and allowed the film to flow much more smoothly. The song choices were perfect; they were exceptional songs and the fact that they played at the most inappropriate times throughout the film made me enjoy them even more.
