I found this film to be incredibly hilarious. While the humor was terribly stupid, I appreciated and enjoyed all of the references to sports and other sports-related films. In general, through all of the ridiculousness, the story in this film was actually decent. It had a similar feel to many other sports films as it begins with a group of athletes in shambles and ended with a team that comes together to achieve their ultimate goal. While the path in which the group went from one point to another was a bit unorthodox, I thought it was fun and ultimately had the same, uplifting, ending that many sports films have. I thought the director and the writers accomplished exactly what they had planned for this film. It’s hard to comment on any one particular acting performance because everything was meant to be corny. However, I think that playing such dumb characters can be just as hard as anything else. To be able to portray yourself in this way for almost two hours says something about your acting ability. So, with that being said, I have to credit each of the actors for their overall performance throughout the film.
