I thought this film was better than the first Thor film. I found the story far more interesting than the first. Similar to most MCU films, many of the characters develop at a smooth and appropriate pace for each respective character. Although Kat Dennings’ Darcy doesn’t play too much of a role in either of the Thor films, I very much appreciate her character and and find her character to be rather funny. Idris Elba’s Heimdall is one of the most subtle badasses in the MCU. He is one of the few characters that has very little development. However, the few scenes that he does have make him look seriously awesome; for example: when he very willingly tells Odin that he has just committed treason and apparently shows no remorse for doing so.
